How do I register?

Is there a limit to how many students I can bring?
The MSTEM 500 takes place in the East Chalet of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and capacity is estimated at 700 students per day. Registrations for schools / organizations / groups are confirmed on a first requested first allocated basis until space capacity is met. There is no limit to the number of students any one organization can bring to the MSTEM 500 program.
Do I need to have any chaperones?
Yes, participation in the MSTEM 500 program will require a minimum of 1 chaperone per 10 students. Organizations can have more chaperones than the 1 per 10 ratio but must indicate such in their registration to attend the MSTEM 500 program.
Is there parking provided?
Yes, chaperone vehicles and school / organization buses will be provided with the requested number of parking permits in advance of the MSTEM 500. There is no charge for parking.
What should I plan to bring?
Visiting groups should plan to bring their own lunches for chaperones and students as it is not provided by the MSTEM program. The concessions of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway may be available and attendees of the MSTEM program can dine in any of the open outlets at IMS. Complimentary water will be provided at the East Chalet for participants of the MSTEM 500 program. Please come prepared to learn more about the Motor Sports and supporting Industries. The MSTEM program is hosted inside of the East Chalet and therefore is a rain or shine event.

Who Should Attend?
This program is FREE and open to any middle school and high school aged students within the state of Indiana. The MSTEM 500 is an annual free program funded and hosted by Purdue University at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We encourage participation from any school, individual, or organization interested in exposing their student(s) to higher education and career opportunities within the motor sports and supporting industries.
