Great question, the long and short of it is from a racing operation standpoint I would suggest that you become familiar with the controller through the Alltrax software. Changing of some of the parameters will be useful in when and how your kart will perform best on the track. Speed Curve vs. Torque Curve as an example. There is also a 10kw Purdue rule which you will need to address within the controller.
We will be at the next test and tune event at Purdue on May 5th, please seek us out, and we will guide you through some of the highlights.
Not sure who you emailed but this is always a good way to get help, and if need be, please feel free to contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to seeing you soon.
