SUBJECT: Purdue’s EV Grand Prix event, programs cancelled for spring

Organizers of the 2020 Purdue University EV Grand Prix – set for April 21-22 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway – have cancelled the dates for all spring events.

The decision to cancel the spring events is due to Purdue’s announcement issued on March 10 regarding moving all classes online, cancelling events on campus and travel restrictions for faculty, staff and students.

Other EV Grand Prix events cancelled are:
• April 4 testing at CERAland Park near Columbus, Indiana;
• April 11 testing at Whiteland Raceway Park in Whiteland, Indiana; and
• April 18 academic challenge event.

Organizers will be communicating with participating schools on additional options for moving forward.

If you have any questions, please contact me via email at white66@purdue.edu.

I am working with Motorsports Registration on refunds should you wish one. We can also carry the entry over to the next event.
More to follow as I get clarity.

You have two options, you can request a refund or have that entry moved to next years event.
Refunds will be less the fee's charged by Motorsportsreg and must be requested from the school, administrator or person that charged it by emailing me at bill@mkpshop.com. If you paid by check again request it formally by emailing me.
WKA will move all memberships paid to next year, they will not refund memberships.
If you would like to slide your entry to next year email me as well.
If you have questions please email me and I would be happy to answer them.
Thank you.
