The Official Times for the test and tune events at both Ceraland and Purdue's Karting Center are as follows:

9:00 am until 1:00 pm

Remember that your driver will need to be on the Certified Drivers List to take to the track, if the driver has not taken the test yet you need to get that done soon.

I will be sealing motors at all the test and tunes events, this would be a good time to go over your safety tech forms too.

Have a plan, bring tools, extra batteries, chargers, generators and extension cords, air compressor, laptop, and drivers safety gear to name a few items.

We are just over a week away from the first test and tune event.

Here are a few important things to remember;
Have you got your batteries on charge?
Did you remember to pack a battery charger, generator, extension cord, air compressor and tool box?
Does your driver have all his safety equipment packed?
Do you have a goal you are looking to achieve?
Did you pack extra chain, front drivers, rear gears, chain lube, chain tool and your tire gauge?
Did you get all your team members releases signed?
Do you have your laptop with the ALLTRAX Software (latest version is 3.8) loaded on it?
Do you have the patch cable that came with the ALLTRAX?
Did you bring a kart stand?
Did you bring some water to keep your team hydrated?
ARE YOU READY TO HAVE SOME FUN?

We are looking forward to seeing you all again.

Great turn out for the first test and tune event..

It was nice to see some new teams as well as the well established teams.

Nice job to all involved.

On a side note:
I will be better prepared to seal motors at the next event.

NOTICE: (College Karts)
By the next test and tune event (Purdue Karting Center) your kart must be in compliance with the current rule book. We allowed some karts on track with missing components, we will not allow this going forward. I warned many teams last year about being in compliance and you still showed up this year missing important components.

Take a minute and make sure your kart has bumpers, drivers fairings and be able to pass the normal self check list of items like clips and safety wire to name a few.

All karts should have the push back bumper brackets installed, test your electrical switches, verify that you have a working brake and you have all your safety equipment.

High School teams look up to you guys, lets lead by example.
