Region B will be hosting the Indiana State Championship event at New Castle Motorsports Park (NCMP) on October 12th.
This event is open to all regions looking for more track time.

This event will be run in conjunction with the World Karting Association's Grand Nationals.

We will again be running the tracks to the east of the National Circuit. New this year will be the addition of the Oval.

Note: Everyone will be required to purchase Pit Passes for this event. There are no free spectator area's that visitors would be able to watch the event from.

Please download:
Entry form, WKA minor release and Inspection Sheet.

Email the entry form to bill@mkpshop.com. WKA release should be notarized and accompany the minor to the event.
Inspection Sheets need to be filled out before going to Tech.

PM me with questions. Updates as the event approaches,

Bill

Last years 2018 Indiana State Champions will be back to defend their title. Lots of strong teams this year so we should have some great racing on the challenging circuit.
A little throw back Tuesday for ya!

Just as a reminder:
We will be looking to establish a Track Record during this event. This circuit will be larger than last years layout so come ready to Win.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Last minute update (1):

1) Drive your team into the pit area near the track we will be using; we do not have a reserved area due to kart count, so try and park near our track
2) Bring your signed and notarized WKA minor releases to the scale house just off the oval for registration and pit passes (DO NOT GO TO THE CLUBHOUSE for registration or pit passes)
3) Head back to your pit area and get set up
4) The driver and one or two members from the team should bring the kart to the scale house for tech, weigh-in, and transponder pickup. Bring the filled out tech form signed along with your driver's helmet
5) We lost some schools due to Fall Break, Homecoming, and other fall activities. We will look at rescheduling this event next year.

The weather for our event improves every day, we will have a nice and dry day to work with but not very warm. Here is my tip for the week, NCMP sits in an area that's wide-open farmland, at this moment in time it looks like a high temperature of 49 degrees about the time we go home, now add in the wind and it's going to be cold. Make sure your team wears appropriate clothing; it is easier to remove a layer than suffer it out.

We will strive to stay on the timeline we have posted.
We expect the track to be damp early and dry quickly due to the wind. Be ready to go,

Due to the forecast of rain on FRIDAY, we will NOT be having open practice on that day.
We will see you all on Saturday Morning.

Again the track will be closed on Friday to open practice, sorry for any issues due to this decision.
