The problem we always run into during the Worlds is the long lines at registration. This is due in part to having to sign for Pit Passes. This year we will have a remote registration across from the speedway beginning at 7:00 am both days, I encourage all teams to take advantage of this opportunity. We have a packed day and if we can get the majority of registration done before the gates open the better. Once the gates open we will move registration inside the Motor Speedway.
Everyone needing a pit pass will need to sign for them before we can hand them out. Remember pit pass is not the same as the IMS entry ticket.
Everyone in your pit area will need a pit pass.

Please take me up on this offer, we want to make the day as stress free as possible and trust me this will help!

We have sent some registration packets out already, some I have held onto thinking I would see local teams at the test and tune. Regardless, after the test at Whiteland any remaining packets will be sent on Monday April 29th.

In the registration packets you will find your Welcome letter, Driver bio sheet, a WKA minor release (make copies), Annual inspection form*,  EKS membership cards, IMS Entry Tickets and a Parking Pass.
* EKS members only

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Your team will need the following releases signed and notarized:
Indianapolis Motor Speedway Release, WKA Release. Failure to have these forms signed and notarized will prevent your team from taking part in this running of the evGrand Prix World Finals.

Late entries after May 4th will have a late fee of $50.00 added to the entry and my require the packets to be pickup to ensure delivery before the event.

I know we are a few weeks away from the Worlds but I need to begin having the scoring system loaded with driver information.
If you have landed on a driver for your entry, please PM or email me at bill@mkpshop.com.
Again this will speed up the process on our end.

School, drivers name, kart number, country, primary or alternate driver

Ridgemont High, Linda Speedster, #987, USA, primary
Ridgemont High, Jon Apexing, #987, Canada, alternate

Thank you for your help!

We are just 15 days away from opening day at the speedway, five short days from a registration late fee.

Things to remember - all karts must have the Push Back Bumper Brackets installed on your karts. The driver of record must be able to un-clamp and re-clamp the nose cone with his/her own hand at the grid.

Please remember al your releases. IMS, WKA release forms must be notarized if anyone is under the age of 18.

If you have a trailer please anticipate having to drop your trailer, with that said please bring wheel chocks or small 2x4's to place in front of the trailer tires to keep them from rolling.

Please check clearance on your karts, due to having to tape the scoring loop down instead of cutting in the surface anything dragging could rip the loop up. Nose cones seemed to be the only thing we noticed at the test  and tunes.

Please insure that all your wiring is above the frame rails. We noticed some karts had wires that would possible drag, cutting them and ending your day.

Get ready it will be here sooner than you thing.

T-6 and counting!

Few reminders

- We will have early registration outside the track in the lot across from the tunnel on 16th street beginning at 7:00 am until we are allowed inside the speedway. Take advantage of this opportunity.
- If anyone on your team is under the age of 18 you need to have the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and the World Karting Associations minor release forms signed and notarized. THIS IS A MUST.
- We will be using a new scoring system, be patient with us. We have passed out some transponder holders at the last test and tune, see other post on the location of this bracket. If you did not receive one please request one at registration.
- Vehicles with trailers: you will be required to remove the trailer from your tow vehicle as parking is limited. Parking will be on the west side of the EVGP track this year.
- Gather your entire team when you go to registration. Registration will be at the TOP KART TRANSPORTER, (look for the green sign) Pit Passes require that the person receiving the pass sign for it. There is a lot of information you need to retain during registration.
- Tech (look for the yellow sign, north side of the track) requires both the driver and head mechanic, drivers safety equipment, your kart and the filled out inspection form you were either sent or received at registration. Once passed, you will receive a tech sticker, place it on the drivers fairing near your number.
- You will be given a practice group sticker in registration, place it on the opposite side of the number panel from the tech sticker. No karts will be allowed on track until you have gone through registration and completed tech.

Have fun and good luck.

If you have not downloaded the IMS releases from the evgrandprix.org site here they are.
All adults must have the adult release signed.
All under the age of 18 must have the minor release signed and notarized.
The WKA minor release was in your packets. It too need signed and notarized.
If you have parents or guardians that will be accompanying a minor to the track, I am a notary and can notarize the release forms if necessary.

2019 Worlds heading to the record books

We want to thank all the teams, family and friends that attended the event. The weather was fantastic as usual.

I have posted the results and am reviewing some video to have the timing clerk sign off on the results.

I want to congratulate all teams for coming to the event, with this great growth comes great challenges. We will be working hard over then next couple of months to fix some things that are broken and improve those that are not.

I personally want to thank the teams that helped us tear down, it was much appreciated - thank you!
